It's been a long tough trek here with Sandy and the noreaster. It's reassuring to know that all are physically well. Property can be repaired and, hopefully, the insurance cos. will come through for us. I'll be working through the insurance system in the next couple of days. Happily, the worst is over... for now.

A friend in the insurance business ( you might remember Jeff ) tells me that areas like yours after a natural disaster are likely to experience a mini boom in the local economy as insurance claims are spent on renovations. Ironic in a way.
