100 countries on the moon!

I just noticed that the flag grid is now complete! It's amazing but there are now 100 countries represented on Aural Moon(and counting?). Countries that are highly populated but have low prog representation such as India and China are even on there. It's good to see that the whole world is progging!

WOW ... 100 countries.
Strange though there aren't more shouters from those exotic countries ... or maybe there's a problem with the language.

There are 100 icons there but only 99 countries. The top left corner icon is "Satellite Provider". There's no way of knowing where on the globe that user was from based on IP address. So, we need one more icon to show there before have a true centennial celebration.

Only for the satellite service. Since it *IS* satellite, the user could be anywhere on terra firma or on the high seas or even in the air. As long as there is radio transmission between user and satellite, an IP is assigned but it does not reflect WHERE in space-time the client is located. While it is conceivable that the satellite provider knows the latitude, longitude and even the altitude, they issues IPs from a block of addresses but that IPs location information is not updated dynamically.

I have an EVDO card. I could get an IP address assigned by my provider listing me in the states but if I go outside (as I was in Canada) the IP address would still list me as being in the US.

Question, no not the moody blues, this count of 99 + 1 is it a members only count or does it include "Guests" as well?

Just asking?
