New albums

Who else is pumped about the new Yes album, Rush album, and Boston album?

I know, Boston is not prog, but I like 'em, dang it...

X-Ternal 06-12-2001 04:28 PM

I know I'm gonna buy the new Yes album, since Homeworld is one of my favorite songs. I never was into Rush, but it's probably cause my parents weren't as well.

Stupid question but

What would you think about us trying to have an exclusive listening party (online) for the new Yes album?

We're going to try at least. We were able to swing it with The Ladder (AM was the first place - internet or otherwise it played publicly) - we're going to try and swing the same for Magnification (but we'll see)!

Memory Lane

In fact, here's the announcement we made back in '99. The event was huge - 40-50 listeners (back then, that was a ton).

Red Alert, all fans!

Please join us for a special edition of Aural Moon, the net's
progressive rock garden, as we celebrate and preview THE LADDER, the
upcoming release from Yes.

What: Special preview of THE LADDER, to be released from Yes on 9/28/99.

When: 8pm EDT, August 26, 1999

Where: Aural Moon (http://listen.to/auralmoon) (Click on the listen
button). You must have winamp or another streaming mp3 program
installed, and your browser must recognize it. If you have Winamp
already installed, but your browser won't interact with it, you can
access Aural Moon directly by hitting CTRL-L on Winamp and typing in
216.32.166.89:9534 in the location box. We broadcast at 40kbps 22kHz
stereo, so most 56k modem listeners can tune in, while still enjoying
good audio quality.

Why: Because we love you!

See you there at 8pm EDT. We'll probably wait a few extra minutes to
accomodate any stragglers. We'll be broadcasting our usual progressive
rock fare until then.

Avian, host, Aural Moon

Rush/Boston

Pumped for the New Rush album is an
understatement!I do know that it will
be put out sometime early next year.I
didn't know Boston was coming out with
a new one(although they were past due)
Can't wait for that one either...but I'll
take the Rush first...and last!

Yesspaz 06-20-2001 09:20 PM

stuff

Actually, you'll take the Boston one first, because it comes out first.

Anywhoozal, If you got about ten minutes to kill and want to check out something sweet - that being a video preview of the two new Appleseed Cast albums, LOW LEVEL OWL, VOL. 1 and the same VOL. 2 - then open a new window and go here:

(don't freak because of the location - it doesn't make sense to me either, just trust me)

www.abercrombie.com

then click A&FTV at the top...
then Episodes...
then Past...
then 13...

enjoy
