Just found this goodness, pasted from the Sigur Ros website:

starálfur in new movie- 29th november 2004
a lengthy portion of starálfur (from the album ágætis byrjun) is featured in wes anderson's new movie, the life aquatic with steve zissou. it's a comedy starring bill murray and will be released in the states on december 25th, but in january-march in the rest of the world.

For those of you who aren't up on Wes Anderson, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou is his fourth movie. His first three are, in order, Bottlerocket, Rushmore, and The Royal Tennebaums. Good stuff.

Hi Spaz,

I'm glad to hear that Sigur Ros is finally getting some attention... maybe this inclusion in the soundtrack will mean bigger and better things for them.... Like a US tour. And yes, Wes Anderson makes great films.
