Aural Moon Laws

#1. You will always be called to a meeting when your request finally comes on. (pfd)

#2. You will always be at your desk with no meeting to attend to, listening to AM, when the 25-minute GYBE song comes on. (pfd)

#3. if #2 just played, then it's klause shultz. (dangerboy)

feel free to add.

PFD,

Thank you for beginning the codification of these laws...:rawk:

#4 Your bladder will begin to scream just before your request starts - prompting a bathroom trip... followed by one to the coffee pot - to cause a recycle in time for your next request. :flutter:

This is really just 1A - If not a "Meeting" some other task or call of nature will arise pulling you away from your listening pleasure, etc.

New Rule

#5 - You will always join AM right at the tail in of your favorite artist or song playing, especially if it's a long epic.

#6 Rebuffering or loss of stream (LOS) will always occur when a free evening with no known obstacles in sight is available.

#7 As you are about to request a song, SAM plays the artist first... and your request is 'put off' for hours.

#10 Log on to the Moon in the morning and request a song, loose track of time, realize you're late for work and miss your request and get in trouble with the powers that be. :aua: :deadhorse

#11 - Unless you have a monitor you don't care about, coffee (or any other beverage) should only be drunk when there is no conversation in the shoutbox. Otherwise, be fully aware that it is quite common to experience uncontrollable spitting/splattering urges when laughing with mouth full of beverage.

Yes, based on the financial aspect alone. Although, to be fair, I don't think this is a complaint thread as much as a joke thread, ala Murphy's Law.

#19 No matter how many days off you have and get to Faff, the days that you can't get onto the Moon are the days that something REALLY interesting happens.

You may have but you didn't number it.

Spaz and I went the self-deprecating route (see # 8). Knowing Mr G's propenstity for a joke, that's what I think this thread is! It's pretty funny...

Yeah, I started this thread purely as a joke...hope it's taken that way.

#20....When faffing with Vax, the conversation will inevitably turn into a rant against Microsoft and Windows.

#24 The Larch

(ok Monty Python reference out of the way)

#25

Whenever a song plays with a hint of heaviness, someone will always compare it to Dream Theater.

The Larch - Ha! All we could do was DREAM of The Larch when our family of 30 lived in a shoebox in the gutter during the great snowstorm of '48! That dream was all the firewood we had.
