Missing Album Covers... Help!
Howdy. As you may or may not know, I'm sort of unofficially in charge of finding and adding the album covers to the tags so that they'll show up in the WPN window. When a new album is added R.L can do a quick search for the cover at amazon.com, but if that turns up nil then it moves to me. 98% of the covers are easy to find, but there are a few here and there that absolutely refuse to be found. If you know where to find these covers, or have the album and can scan it as a .jpg, then PLEASE help. These are the elusive evil covers than run from me. They are:
artist-album: Everness - Voyage of Being Mathematicians - Irrational Numbers Room - Overdog Yep, that's them. Thanks. I'll update this periodically. |
Found one!
The Ananga-Ranga cover is here:
http://www.gaudela.net/portugalprog/...vado-capa.html Cool cover from a band I've never heard of! |
And another! Yow!
Here's the La Maschera... cover
http://www.prog-nose.org/nederlands/..._labirinto.htm OK... here's my secret ;) Google is great, but the "dogpile" can be better!! Try the image search at www.dogpile.com. It's a meta-search engine that does pretty well |

This might be the Scheigho cover (attached)

I don't believe Erebus has a cover, but was an artist produced demo sent to radio stations at the time. I know it was never released commercially.

Rock on Fremder!
Ok, Q #1, can anyone confirm that self-titled Schleigho cover? and Q #2, can anyone confirm Erebus has nor cover? If I can get two proggers saying the same thing, I'll go with it! |

hahahahaha! :D |
Schleigho
I can confirm the Schleigho cover. That's it. I consider myself to be an authority since I donated that CD.
Hmmm, mine is all black and white though... must be because it's a reprint. Can't say about the Erebus. Sorry Spaz... |
mossy is right...........
There is no cover for the Erebus. It was a demo sent to radio stations.
I can supply you with a cover pic if you want one. "Meet Me at the Water's edge......................" |

Man in Space
|
Yesspaz,
I just noticed that the Mastermind live "Tokyo Rain" had no cover in WPN. If you're looking for it, I found it here: http://www.musicaldiscoveries.com/reviews/lisabou.htm Cheers! |
Thanks for the Man in Space cover Fremder. As for the Mastermind, I have all their covers, but we can't seem to get MM ripped right, so I add the cover, but then MM has to be deleted and redone. I'ma wait until the MM is fixed before I add the covers. Thanks anyhow. For future time saving, unless I post here that I can't find one, don't worry about it. 99% are easy to find, but occasionally I'll hit a dead end - that's when I need help:D

Ok. Help me find this cover!
Everness - Voyage of Being |

All my attempts have failed as well. The closest is this page: http://daluz.web.pt/cds%20released/c...20released.htm which uses a "Sold Out" icon in place of the cover. Perhaps an Email to them will get a copy of the cover... |
That's crazy! He's got the rest of them...

Ok, just played on Aural Moon:
Magma - Wurdah Itah (Live 200) - 2001 I looked for this album and only found it, but it was released in 1974. The track titles are identical, but the running lengths are longer across the board on the 2001 cuts - i.e. the ones on AM. Is the one on AM a re-release? Here's the 1974 cover. Is it the same cover? Any help would be hot. |

The cover for Tabula Rasa's Tabula Rasa on the playlist is incorrect. The right cover looks like this:

There's all kind of links to other things. Sometimes I think we should just take our time and make sure the covers are right the first time. It's not like the artist gives a hoot anyway. ;) |

Pittsburgh TR
Apparently there are at least 3 bands named Tabula Rasa. Perhaps all of them have a self-titled album.
I have heard the Pittsburgh-based one. I ended up at one of their shows once. I was really bored one night, and a friend's band was playing a show nearby, opening for them. Now the friend's band (not a real close friend, more of an acquaintance) has pretty awful vocals so I decided I wouldn't go unless the other band was good. I looked them up online and found some sound samples which intrigued me enough to go. Tabula Rasa impressed me enough to walk away that night with one of their CDs. It's basically prog and math rock played through a punk filter. At one time I thought they would sound good on the Moon but then rethought it. Yesspaz would probably really enjoy them though. I don't have their self-titled disc, I got the newer one, "The Role of Smith" and I like it a lot. The proper homepage for the Pittsburgh Tabula Rasa is http://www.tabularasaonline.com if you want to see one of the TRs we're NOT talking about. Of course, now I wonder if the German TR is also a prog-influenced band. |
