HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAX!! I hope was a good one. You should have received your AARP packet by now. ;) It took about ten return to senders to make them quit. Enjoy your day, what's left of it. :D

Thanks to all for the birthday wishes. I spent my birthday much as any other day working on code. I then treated myself to the usual birthday dinner in the evening -- 24oz rare prime rib and a pint of Guinness with a birthday candle floated in its thick creamy head.

M and I spent Saturday with old college friends, all whom celebrated or will celebrate their 50ies early August as well. It was a near perfect day here weather-wise -- dry and low 80°F. Drank too much, ate to little, and had a mildly pleasant day.

Sorry I've been away from the Moon - been busy with cricket - so I've missed this yearly monumental day. That's very depressing and its depressing for Vax to have become a year older - a complete decade even. I've been there before and it will get worse. I hope you had a decent day and best wishes for the coming year.

Happy Belated BD, vax. I'm sorry but I don't have anything consoling to say about reaching 50 other than, it feels young compared to 60. Also, if you come to Vegas you can get senior discounts at some buffets. There.... feel better? Hope it was a wonderful day.
