"The Idiot" is a novel by Dosty that is about a wealthy prince who doesn't know the power of money over his soul. He's the ideal philanthropist.

Score 1 for Spaz!

Spaz on a roll...

Yes to the Idiot
Yes to Graham Greene (I thought that might be one of the harder ones)
No to Katherine Stone
No to Daniel Keyes

#6 second try...

O.k. something about the lyric of Home at Last makes me think of The Odyssey ..

So I'm going for Homer.

exactly right. "The danger on the rocks is surely past; still I remain tied to the mast; could it be that I have found my home at last" The song is the Dan's take on "The Odyssey." 6 more points for Jam

The Little Flower Girl

I went to Ian's website and heard his intro, and read the lyrics. I couldn't figure out who the writer is, but I do need a smoke!

He does mention an artist, but it doesn't seem like you want that. Could the mention of the clue twice have something to do with the girl's features? (ok just kidding)

#11 (partial)

:p I was gonna say that .. (was also my Sea Of Tranq book)...

Well from memory .. the Kate Bush lyric has enough references to aspects of TEFL that it could have been inspired by it...

some clues

OK, c'mon, this one is easy. Just the book. A VERY famous book.

3. Dominic Miller - Otis
Afterglow - Knight Of The Sun
Leah Waybright - Monkshood
Jane Siberry - Caravan

think old. first three clues reference parts of the book, the fourth hints at part of the title

4. Journey - Cookie Duster
East Of Eden - Nymphenburger
Marillion - Sugar Mice

first clue is tricky. second should give it away.

9. Ian Anderson - The Little Flower Girl
Ian Anderson - The Little Flower Girl

if you have two little girls, what do you have in a really generic sense?

Tiebreaker if needed:
Yanni - Within Attraction
Godspeed YBE - Static (etc etc)
Curlew - Still
Kate Bush - The Jig Of Life

OK, you'll probably never guess this one, but I'll leave it without clues in case we need a tiebreaker...

Barleycorn mentions the three wise men (no not Jam Keith and Jim).

Romani - North Star?
