I have been without a decent sound system for nearly 3 years. So now that my real listening system is out of storage and fully resurrected, I've been going through alot of back catalog:

Caress of Steel, A Farewell to Kings, Amused to Death, Lamb Lies Down, David Myers Plays Genesis, Brave, Scenes from a Memory - Part 2. To shake things up Volbeat's Guitar Gangsters and Cadillac Blood and The Boss Hoss’s Stallion Battalion - need a little rock-n-roll once in a while to get the blood boiling.

And for a check of sound quality Guy Clark's Cold Dog Soup.

Finally, the album that has spent the most time in the player over the last few years is Retroheads - Introspective. Top track for me is Tidal Wave.

Good to see other prog people into these GREAT bands.

Mario, Unwed Sailor is on the Moon, so you can check them out. They're entirely instrumental except for one song over 5 or 6 albums and eps. Bass-centric, choppy-but-not-"busy," and very melodic. I recommend them. If you know the singer-songwriter David Bazan, who is the leader of Pedro the Lion, he's the drummer for Unwed Sailor.
