The new Magma album Ëmehntëhtt-Rê is superb. As always an extraordinary drum work of C. Vander and vocals also very very brilliant.
As a consecuence of the above, for now i can't stop playing Magma's albums (from Kobaia to Retrospektiw, incluiding of course Mekanik Destruktiw Komando and Live). Also Watching their great DVD's. Sure not of Proddirjim's appreatiation, but still Mexican Groups Austin TV and Porter has held my interest for a while. Not prog at all but my tastes are not limited to prog. The live versions of Magma´s Hhai and Mekanïk Destruktïw Kommandöh has reshocked me again and again. Really timeless great f...ing music. I have been looked forward to hear Locanda Delle Fate - Homo Homini Lupus for a long time and i got really dissapointed. No trace of Their 70's masterpiece. Most of Italian comebacks has been likewise. Hey but i also have just heard new Maschera di Cera's Album Petali di Fuoco. Sounds really good. I think my Magma's disease is about to get cured..... |
