the funny thing is, when you first posted the question, I was thinking of 2 Lewis's partners - Martin and Lewis, and Lewis and Clark. So I'm thinking "Cat in Martin's shoes, cat in clark's boots", but nothing clicked. Finally today I remembered Gong had a song something like that and I had to check the CD to make sure I had it exactly right.

If so, is it a chronological order you want?

If they're all on Cuneiform that would be a pretty big coincidence, as that's not what I was looking for. I'll check, at least one must not be...

I did double check, and unless I'm mistaken at least Weather Report and Acqua Fragile are not on Cuneiform.

I like this post, it's fun - but are we few the only losers with enough time? I'd like to maybe leave the question up for a few days to see who can get it before hints - I've found the hints give it away too fast.

Any other ideas?
